Practising Surveyors who wished to update their current skills and knowledge to the latest technologies.
Candidates who are applying for the Cadastral Surveying Courses (Foundation / Elective), but do not have the necessary experience
CTM 2 Topics
1. What is traverse?
2. Traverse terminology, i.e. Datums, Azimuth, Assumed Bearings, Precision, etc.
3. Basic introduction to conventional Total Station usage.
4. Best practice field procedures to minimize errors.
5. Related computations, e.g. Angular and Linear misclose and Precision.
6. Traverse adjustment procedures and techniques:
-Angular misclose distribution
- Bowitch and Transit adjustment
-Least squares adjustment introduction & usage of computer software, e.g. Star*Net, etc.
Training Duration for CTM 2: 24 hours
Pre-requisites for CTM 2: GCE ‘N’ Level or equivalent

Withdrawal and Deferment
No refund will be made and no request for deferment will be granted unless a written notice is given no less than fourteen (14) days prior to the course commencement.GPS Lands reserve the right to amend the course details, revise the course fee without prior notice, to cancel, postpone or change the venue of the course in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
