Upgrading from Probationer to Member
Upon completion of the Log and Diary, the Probationer is required to attend an interview for the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).

Application for "Retired" Membership
Members who have reached the age of 60 and have completely retired/not gainfully employed can apply for "Retired" status. Retired members can enjoy waiver of their annual subscription fees but they will have no voting rights during AGM/EOGM. Members would have to clear all arrears before applying for "Retired" status.

Conditions to apply for re-instatement of membership are as follows:
Fees payable:
  • Admin fee of $300 (flat rate)
  • Subscription Arrears (if any)
  • Subscription for years of absence
If member was suspended due to disciplinary action, his/her case will be refered to Disciplinary Committee before main council’s decision to re-instate his/her membership
Members applying for Re-instatement must:
i) submit application form for re-instatement
ii) fulfill 20 hours of CPD and submit a list of CPD events attended together the application
iii) pay the above fees upon approval (fees are subjected to prevailing GST)
