AUSTRALIAN
PROPERTY INSTITUTE (API)
(EXTRACTED FROM THE RECIPROCITY AGREEMENT BETWEEN API AND SISV DATED 24
APRIL 1998)
A corporate member (Associate or Fellow)
of the API in good standing, may be elected as a Member of the SISV in the
Valuation and General Practice Division subject to:
- one year's practice in Singapore as a
Probationer in circumstances which will enable a corporate member of
SISV to confirm the professional activities undertaken. During this
period applicants will be required to maintain a detailed record of
their experience, followed by:
- a professional interview conducted by
the SISV to test the applicant's knowledge of law and practice in
Singapore;
- subsequent election to fellowship
being subject to the ByeLaws and Regulations of the SISV.
Applicants will join the Valuation and
General Practice Division only.

HONG KONG INSTITUTE OF
SURVEYORS (HKIS)
(EXTRACTED FROM THE RECIPROCITY
AGREEMENT BETWEEN HKIS AND SISV DATED 21 NOVEMBER 1997)
A corporate member (Associate or Fellow)
of the HKIS in good standing, may be elected as a Member of the SISV
subject to:
- one year's practice in Singapore in
circumstances which will enable a corporate member of SISV to confirm
the professional activities undertaken. During the period applicants
will be required to maintain a detailed record of their experience,
followed by:
- a professional interview conducted by
the SISV to test the applicantās knowledge of law and practice in
Singapore;
- subsequent election to fellowship
being subject to the Byelaws and Regulations of SISV.
Applicants will join the relevant
Division. The agreement includes Building Surveyors, Land Surveyors,
Quantity Surveyors and Valuation and General Practice Surveyors.

INSTITUTE OF QUANTITY SURVEYORS (NZIQS)

AGREEMENT BETWEEN NZIQS AND SISV DATED 23 JUNE 1998)
A corporate member (Associate or Fellow)
of the NZIQS in good standing, may be elected as a Member of the SISV
Quantity Surveying Division only, subject to:
- one year's practice in Singapore as a
Probationer in circumstances which will enable a corporate member of
SISV to confirm the professional activities undertaken. During the
period, applicants will be required to maintain a detailed record of
their experience, followed by:
- a professional interview conducted by
the SISV to test the applicant's knowledge of law and practice in
Singapore;
- subsequent election to Fellowship
being subject to the ByeLaws and Regulations of the SISV.

AGREEMENT BETWEEN NZIV AND SISV DATED 24 APRIL 1998)
A corporate member (Associate or Fellow)
of the NZIV in good standing, may be elected as a Member of the SISV in
the Valuation and General Practice Division subject to:
- one year's practice in Singapore as
Probationer in circumstances which will enable a corporate member of
SISV to confirm the professional activities undertaken. During the
period applicants will be required to maintain a detailed record of
their experience, followed by:
- successful completion of the statutory
valuation paper from the Valuation and General Practice Division of
the Institute, and any other examinations considered necessary by the
SISV, on a case-by-case basis.
- a professional interview conducted by
the SISV to test the applicant's knowledge of law and practice in
Singapore;
- Applicants will join the Valuation and
General Practice Division only.

ROYAL INSTITUTION OF
CHARTERED SURVEYORS (RICS)
(EXTRACTED FROM THE RECIPROCITY
AGREEMENT BETWEEN RICS AND SISV DATED 2 OCTOBER 1992)
A corporate member [Professional
Associate (ARICS) or Fellow (FRICS)] of the RICS in good standing, who is
member of the General Practice, Land and Hydrographic Surveyors or
Quantity Surveyors Division may be elected as a Member of SISV subject to:
- One (1) year's professional practice
in Singapore under the supervision and to the satisfaction of a
corporate member of SISV, during which the applicant will be required
to maintain a detailed record of his/ her experience, followed by:
- A professional interview conducted by
SISV to determine the applicant's knowledge of law and practice in
Singapore;
- Subsequent transfer to Fellowship
being subject to the ByeLaws and regulations of SISV.
