A)   BCA Academy 每 IOSH (Singapore) International Conference on Workplace Safety & Health for Construction Industry 每 4th & 5th June 2012

 

 

This conference, jointly organised by the BCA Academy and the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH)Singaporebrings together expertise from senior government officials, WSH professionals from diverse industries, leaders from specialist fields as well as established global institutions to facilitate cutting edge discussions on the latest developments in WSH. It presents an excellent opportunity for local and regional construction personnel to gain insights from WSH specialists and experts from various industries globally.

 

In total, more than 20 speakers will be at the conference to share WSH excellence from various sectors; complimented by 4 workshop sessions covering specialist areas related to construction industry: (a) Promoting Design for Safety, (b) Improving Safety Culture, (c) Understanding Legislation & Its Implications, (d) Ensuring Safety in Works-at-Height, and (e) Creating Awareness on Occupational Health Issues. The conference will be held at the BCA Academy, 200 Braddell Road, Singapore from 4th to 5th June 2012.

B)   World Workplace Asia 2012 Conference and Exhibition 每 25th to 27th July 2012

 

 


The largestmost longstanding and well-respected annual conference and exposition for facility management (FM) and related professions, World Workplace is coming to Singapore! Over the years, the World Workplace has established itself to be a platform where FM practitioners would come together to network and gather insights into latest trends, opportunities and challenges in FM; and strategies to meet increasing complexity in the FM profession.

 

For the very first time, jointly organised by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), and the Singapore Chapter of IFMA, theinaugural 3-day World Workplace Asia 2012 Conference and Exhibition will be held in Singapore from 25th to 27th July at Raffles City Convention Centre. The event comprises:

 

        i.            Conference 每 Themed as Asia Pacific Facility Management: Smart Facilities, Unlimited Opportunities, renowned speakers will be invited to share their experience, expertise and knowledge in global outlook, trends and innovations, effective use and management of space and facilities; business case studies and best practices in sustainable facility management, and real estate and property management.

 

      ii.            Exhibition 每 An opportunity for FM-related organisations to showcase its products, innovations and services to international audience.

 

Apart from the conference and exhibition, there will be FM Leaders Roundtable Forum, educational programmes such as learning journeys to outstanding Green Mark projects, and a Gala Dinner.
